Fifty years later, he unexpectedly offered it to me. When it arrived in Dharmasthala, it was in terrible shape—rusted floors, missing headlights, and damaged body parts. I considered scrapping it, but my team insisted on restoring it. The work began immediately and took two years. Since many parts were unavailable, we custom-made them in fiberglass and steel. Though not fully restored, the Hudson Commodore is now drivable and a rare treasure.
