"A timeless blend of vintage charm and spirited performance—designed to turn every drive into a journey of nostalgia and elegance."
Layer 6 (1) (1)
After completing university, I joined Arts and Science College. Since public transport was inconvenient, my father gifted me a Standard Herald, advising me to drive carefully. However, I loved speed, and when complaints reached him, he warned me about locking the car away. Still, he defended my driving skills.
I often drove the car in Bangalore and made a few trips to Dharmasthala. Its compact size made maintenance easy—lifting the bonnet gave full access to the engine. A mechanic, Mr. Alwin, installed a double silencer, making my car’s presence known from a kilometer away. Even after my father later gifted me a four-door model, I preferred this one—it was truly a part of my life.
